Recipes include Garden Week strawberry shortcake, the rich summertime flavor of Chesapeake Bay crab soufflé, autumn’s Molly’s Brunswick Stew and a new taste sensation, Legendary chocolate cake, featuring brown ale from Legend Brewing Company, Richmond’s oldest craft brewery. The seasonal round-up concludes with holiday recipes, such as Urbanna oyster stew, eggnog bread pudding, and Eastern Shore sweet potato biscuits.

The proceeds from the sale of the book will continue to underwrite the club’s mission to promote interest in gardening, to protect the environment through education and the practice of conservation, and to encourage restoration and civic planting.
